The move in day has come around sooner than expected. July 11th.
Thanks to a lot of good people who put in a lot of hours; we are ready to move the machinery next weekend.
Thank you:thumbup:
There is still a little wiring to be done; but overall we are ready to go.
Burton and Ed are driving down from Columbus with a Bobcat loader and my neighbor said he would come with his backhoe to move the Bridgeport mill and the Big Blue hammer.
I am pumped to get the shop back up and running. It has been many months since I have used a hammer and that is not a good thing.
We'll get some pics on move day and post the following week.
Wish us luck:thumbup:
The 40 thousands aluminum sheeting that we screwed to the wall behind the forges and the grinders, was rescued from the local power plant trash heap. Thanks Jeff I owe you one.
The press and air hammer will sit this side of the fan.
The big exhaust fan came out of my wife's childhood home, in Columbus.
The gas forges will sit in this corner.
A small sink along with a drill press, assembly tables and shelving go here.
The grinders will go on this wall.
The Bridgeport mill will sit in this corner.
Hope you have enjoyed the building of the new smithy; it has been quite an undertaking with many fine people helping out.
I can't thank you enough, my friends. Fred
