Bets recommended epoxy???

Whats the best Epoxy to fix my 100 year old Kukri (Victorian Longleaf) blade back into its original wooden handle?
The tang hole has lots of room and therefore the steel tang will be completely surrounded by the epoxy and not touch the wood at all. The epoxy will take all the beating it seems.
I guess a more flexible epoxy should last longer because every strike with the blade would probably create micro cracks in rock hard epoxy which would become bigger over time. A flexible hard rubber like epoxy should absorb a lot of shock before cracking.
Just guessing here and waiting for some responses from guys with more experience.
Thank you.
