Lmao!...... I know how you feel. It is in Yangdu's hands now. I've given the designs to her, i'm sure if there is enough interest, any of them could end up in production.Karda your gettin my jones goin. I hope Yangdu makes a few of these. I know I'd pick at least one up in buffalo horn.
That was my original and only intention. I'm kinda sorry now that i went so overboard on this with so many redesigns. It could be a sign that my obsessive compulsive disorder is rearing it's ugly head again. That does look better. It places the little or index finger in a more natural position. It should make the grip much more comfortable as well as stronger.
Despite Redesign A 's popularity, i doubt that its design will provide proper alignment and comfort. I feel that it will only be slightly better than the current original design and somewhat a wasted effort for both myself and the kami's. I am looking to make this model the best that it can be as a kerambit.
Here is another revision, possibly for Redesigns A thru C., please note how the ring is placed as compared to Redesign A.
Maybe i need to explain myself. I dont feel i wasted my time, but i'm very reluctant to waste Yangdu's or the kami's time and resources, while making the current design only slightly better as far as ring/handle comfortability. The other, more radical redesigns i've made are secondary to this goal, although i feel it would be nice to add a true kerambit to the lineup for martial arts practitioners.I'm sorry if you feel that you wasted your time because most here liked you less radical changes, You have some very nice designs there, and on a MA forum they would probably have jumped all over the more extreme changes but I think a lot of people here love the kurkri for its utility and versitility making a true kerambit limits this.
You're right,As this was meant for larger peoples, this "bit would haveta be larger overall, and the blade longer.

I think i see what you mean.......... fixed it.I like the ring allowing the pinky to rest in line with the other fingers, but it looks like the ring finger could be bothered by the ring where it meets the bottom of the handle. maybe that portion could have a larger radius for the ring finger to rest against?
