better than a mora?

I just treated myself to a stainless Companion MG, and I am kicking myself for not getting Moras sooner. Seriously, I've used this little blade for everything from prepping food to sharpening a pencil. 3/4+ tang in a nearly nature-proof handle and weighs next to nothing with an incredible blade.

Its a knife i dont mind beating on because it was so cheep, however its just such a nice blade i hate to abuse it.

Great value and very tough for the design.

Some people don't like black blades but the Mora Black is a pretty cool knife. And it looks really great when the black coating starts to wear a bit gives it some nice character

Get another Mora. You could spend more money and not get a knife as good.

The companion or the robust will blow you away if you haven't tried them yet.

I've retired my classic to my kitchen. My companion and robust go with me to the field...and yesterday, I just got the new Bushcraft Black. Haven't taken it outdoors yet, but the ergonomics and feel have instantly impressed me.

The current trend is toward the thicker Moras, like the "robust." If you get one, I think it will not slice or carve as well as your old reliable classic because of the thicker blade. More is not always better.

Marttiini knives are better than Moras: greater variety, good traditional very comfortable handle shapes, better sheaths. You can have Marttiini Condor Timberjack for $16. If you spend $31 you can have a number of classic Finnish models all with nice wooden handles and leather sheaths!

I think condor makes a few small knives that fit the same role as a mora. I got a mora companion to see what the fuss was about. I was instantly a fan. I plan on getting the highQ version next, probably get some extras for some different kits and whatnot.
