I posted in the above mentioned thread about an item that was sold out. Gary soon after sent me a message saying he could source another one.

For a relatively small order Gary delivered on all accounts. I was really happy with the key chain fob. He did a really nice job. Even the packaging and shipping was top notch.

He followed up after the sale, and I'm guessing this isn't news to the BF community, but Gary is "GOOD"!

I bought a Kizer off of him. We decided on a Postal MO.......he shipped the knife to me before I got the MO.

And normally I would pack in a small box but to get through customs they say a padded envelope is less likely to draw a lot of attention, but I was still able to get some protection with the small bit of foam.
 
Thanks guys and Win, that was a unique time at the Chesapeake show, Mike made some nice fixin's as I recall too, excellent chef !

And Thanks Matt, I've made a lot of friends over the years through here and good to meet some in real life too !

OK - I'll pile on too - YEAH G2! He is indeed, a top banana - skillful, honest, generous and modest too.
Altogether a great guy on BF. :thumbsup: (As long as you don't ask him to use other than white thread on his most excellent sheaths.) :)

Thanks guys, my kids are coming over tomorrow for my birthday, a few days early but was the only day they can all get free to stop over.
The thumb is mending, changed the bandages today and I was pleased to not see it gushing blood as it was the last time, so, I feel better about it and hope it all heals up good.

Makes me look at all those people in the movies that get shot up, cut up, banged up and how this seems so trivial lol can't imagine nor would I want to be put into one of those situations!

here's a shot of the sheath for Chip, he had sent in his previous one made back in 2016 and asked to match it as best I could colour wise and also wanted the knife to be about the same height as his REALLY nice Ohta folder, love that folder btw :)

I had the opposite hand oak leaf so that worked out well as his plans were to wear them at the same time with a belt loop separating them.
