better than surefire

Everyone knows that the more LEDs the better.


I like supporting local companies and keeping jobs here so buying Surefire products is win win for me. I have somewhere between 12 15 of their lights, their Delta knife, their EWP-01 pen. They make extremely high quality products that I can depend on.
 
I got a Surefire 6PX pro on its way, hope its good.

Have heard some good things about this light.....

I watched David's (4Sevens') webcast live at SHOT a few weeks ago where they annouced their new lights. I like the size and output of the Maelstrom but the last thing I want it to have to worry about a different battery size to power my light. I think it makes more sense to standardize your lights and use ones that use only one or two different battery sizes at most. They mention that this uses a new proprietary 26650 lithium ion battery so you have to get several batteries and a charger that probably won't work with anything else.
