I wouldn't go deeper, it's not really needed and it will put your front pin hole out of alignment making it closer to the bottom than the top, which doesn't look good.

Less people will look at your pics if you don't hotlink them into your posts... i.e., they won't click over to imgur to look.
Here's what you do, if you don't know how...
go to the image in imgur, right click on it, select "copy image address."
Come here, and in the text box where you want to put your photo, type

and then [ /IMG] (but with no spaces)
and paste the image link right between the two.
It should show up, imbedded in the post after you click "Post Reply."

This is finished to an A60 Trizact belt. Plan to start handsanding from here starting with 220 grit.
