SOLD OUT

I needed a couple.... so why not do a few all at once !
These will accomodate 1 5/16" stock between the screws.
1/4" x 1/2" O-1 full hard stock. Total lenghth- 2 1/4".

0 available @ $23.00 each. (includes shipping) .....PayPal..
Con-Us only
* Although I've used my last set for about 8 yrs, they should be considered a consumable. Grinding with the lower grits will gouge them up.

I can't be online all the time, but will check frequently for questions or comments.

Hey, those look nice!

How "thick" of a ricasso will it take - ie how long are the screws?

Thanks

Bill

Wow....that is CHEAP compared to what the suppliers get for theirs.

I'm in for one. Let me know how you prefer payment.

Bilf, Thanks.
The screws are 1 1/4" long, you can get 7/16" to 1/2" stock inbetween.

Toxey, PayPal is fine......rujoco@verizon.net

Moose, I'll add my paypal in the original post.
Don't forget your address or any other info. ( It's happened before)

Hollowdweller,
You clamp these to your blade where you want to cut a shoulder behind the ricasso for a guard. Then pass your file across it on each side to cut a square or rounded shoulder. Like on the backside of the dagger blade.

Or...... clamp them to the ricasso where you want to start your bevels if you don't grind freehand. Like on the clip blade.

Can't wait to get it. You better make a few hundred more! I think they would sell like crazy here.

jll346,

I already have another batch started. This batch is made from 3/8" square stock. They are also a bit longer to accomadate 2" wide stock for those honkin bowies. I don't need more than one but if I'm cutting up a 3' section, I might as well do it all.

These things take a while to finish working part time. The heat treat is pretty simple but tapping them all blows. My tapper went south earlier this winter. These things won't be around for a while yet. I do want to make knives, not gadgets.

Paypal sent this morning for one of the remaining file guides.. thanks.. Randy
