Bevel grind angle question

Hey, can someone point me in the right direction? Pic attached. I'm trying to learn to control the bevel lines vs. cutting edge angle. I can only get it more or less like the cutting enge angle, but I'm trying to learn how to control it up and down (angle wise)

How do I do this? Is it done by thinning out the blade towards the tip before grinding?

Since I currently only have a turtle speed small grinder I can't really practice. I am using my filing jig.

How do I get B and C to happen?

File/grind in the distal taper first.
Unbolt the file from the jig and learn to do it by hand. ( I dislike jigs, but they won't work here, anyway.)
Once filed in , use a hard backing block and pieces of sandpaper. If you have a grinder with a good platen and the hand skills, you can do it on the grinder, but hand sanding is often better on special plunges/bevels because of the added control.

File unbolted :)

So you are saying there are no real mechanics behind it, it is something I need to learn by doing?
