That looks very civilized Paul :)

I've had difficulty uploading pics over the past week, but took this on my most recent trip to Sheffield

I was out celebrating Leeds Beer Week yesterday ;)

Leeds Beer Week sounds like something I'd enjoy. Did you enjoy yourself? Looks like your TC 14 had a good time. :)

For me today it's a treat from one of my favorite East Coast breweries that I can't get on the West Coast:

It's a pretty good event Greg :) Far too many events for me to attend more than a few, but I certainly had a good time yesterday thanks, perhaps TOO good a time! :D As you can see, my 14 was looking a little blurry by the end of the night! ;)

That looks like a very tasty IPA :)

Got out for a walk and a bit of a poke around some antique shops in the Yarra Valley, where I've found some nice old axe heads for refurbishment before.

Nothing much today, but did get to enjoy this glass of Coldstream Grand Porter at a local brewery on the way back.

And this plate of mussels fresh from Portarlington over the other side of Port Phillip Bay is a dish I wish you could get on every pub menu!

Mmmhh! Mussels are to be relished and always nice with a Cold One or chilled wine:cool::thumbup::thumbup:

Oh, yes, that knife's alright too mate:D:D

Thanks, Will

How is that one, StoneBeard? I like a good pumpkin ale (never seem to need more than a 6-pack a year, though). My favorite is Schlafly from St. Louis, although I can't get it out where I'm at now (they make some great stuff in general, but have a pretty small distribution; if you're ever in St. Louis, I'd definitely recommend their Tap Room). I've seen that Pumpkick in stores before, and I like a lot of the stuff New Belgium puts out, but I guess I've never read the description of that one. The cranberry sounds interesting.

I think the Pumpkick is pretty good. It's a little different but not over the top which is nice. The cranberry provides just enough to make this one standout and not taste exclusively like spices( which I find to be the theme of most pumpkin beers). I'd reccomend giving it a shot over some of the others I've tried over the years. It has been a few years since I last visited St. Louis but next time I'm out that way I will definitely give the Schlafly tap room a try. Thank you for the reccomendation.

Cheers Will, this one's for you mate!

You know Spring's here in southern Australia when the birds start swooping you in your backyard.

So let's bid adieu to the dark ales, porters and stouts of cold winter nights with some Nordic edgeware.

My much loved and (ab)used razor sharp, Roselli Witch's Tooth, and some all steel goodness from Eskiltuna!

Keep warm, my friend!
