On the up side, you have some terrific knives.:thumbup: I am up to 25-30 (I don't want to count). My tastes aren't as expensive as yours. My most expensive knife is my CRKT M-16 titanium bigdog. Scary scenario Bastid.:eek:

I can't wait till I have enough knives to make a small house, then I'm going to get rid of my house and every time i buy a knew knife it will be part of the house itself.

I just have self control, so I'm not afflicted. I have two knives. I just happen to upgrade knives and sell whatever is being replaced or give it away but that's more rare for me. I did buy a Rucki, but it's a sword, though I'm not quite finding use for it, yet.

For me, I rather have one or two nice knives than a bunch of lesser knives. My fixed blade was 325. My folder was 250 IIRC. In time (whenever my maker finishes it), that folder will be replaced by its custom version instead of the midtech that it is now, and it will be about 3 times the price.

Sure for 750 bucks you can buy a handful of knives, but that's just not my thing. I don't like collections of things.
 
Ok... how many times have you heard this... "Just how many knives does a person need?"
My answer is "would you rather I collected Beer cans or maybe Whisky bottles, wait what about chain saws!" :)
 
welp i think it is appropreiate to have at least 1 knife, preferrably 2 in ever room of the house....... then there oughta be several knives hidden in various parts o the house just in case a phool decides to break in an become a live volunteer for how many stitches a person can accquire in the shortest amount o time...........

I work at a used car dealership. A buddy of mine bought a car from me and just gave me his old truck because it needed a new engine and wasn't worth trading it so he figured I could use it. I put a used engine in it and new brakes....total cost $1600. I have bought 2 strider SMF's at $950, a CRK Sebbie double-lug for $400 5 atwoods at $325....My car is sh*t compared to my newly aquired blade EDC. Im just hoping not to get evicted this year for lack of rent. It's amazing what you can buy when you dump your girlfriend and eat ramen all the time.:barbershop_quartet_
 
Just wait soon you all will be sell all your earthly possessions on Ebay in search of extra money for knives, whats that honey, No I didnt buy that. A very nice man gave it to me, Ya I gave him a very good Vegan Chili recipe, No I wouldnt spent that much, not ever. Now where were those cats I was going to sell.
 
Just think of it as you sending your wallet to fat camp.
But you can't let it go unprepared, so you buy a knife for it.
Before you know it, it will be shedding the pounds.
And if you hail from the UK, I'm sure you could find a pun in here.
