This person emailed me claiming to be a seller of a knife I was interested in on the exchange. I had sent the seller a private message on here and posted in his thread.

So, I get an email saying he is the seller. I asked him to respond to my private message and/or reply in the thread for verification. He refused to do either. The funny part is, the guy obviously didn’t speak English as a first language. I have talked with this seller in the past and he did speak (type) in this same manner. Anyway, just a heads up.

I had a similar experience with a Donhogue.1234@protonmail this morning. I had already been in contact with the seller, but this person sent me an email pretending to be the seller to arrange payment.

Both of you have your email address listed in threads. I would remove it to close this avenue of scams.
