First things first, there are pics:

I bought a "Mora 511" for very cheap from a store (5€ I think, they are usually at 10-12€).
Everything was great, but then I noticed the steel is kinda too shiny for carbon.
It does say CARBON tho...
And the blade was kinda bent to the right. It came like that brand new. It did seem off when compared to Moras I used before, but again, I never inspected them closely and they weren't mine. I also broke few Moras in the past (they don't like hits it seems).
So, a brand new blade is bent.
It's not screamingly sharp either, but also not very dull...
First I cut an apple with it and I was amazed there's no discoloration. Then I took a lemon, and I left it covered in lemon juice for 2 hours - and there was no staining?!?!?!
I took it outside, and it got bent right away when I tested the tip.
I also tried to chop thin steel wire just for kicks - almost no damage to the wire, but the "Mora" suffered significant damage.
Example: Cheap crappy AliExpress knife suffered that kind of edge damage only when I batonned it through a steel nail.
The best part:
Even after cutting acidic fruits, several hours long lemon juice soak and all that abuse, this "Carbon" steel is still shiny and without a single stain!
