I found your email address really easily on your profile. Go back and edit any comments where you've shared it and it will be much harder for scammers to contact you. This is the biggest/most common scam on internet forums right now and if your contact information is publicly available and you express interest in buying an item you're almost guaranteed to have scammers reach out.

I believe he responds via email to "I'll take it" posts in For Sale Threads- claiming to be the seller. The victims have previously posted their email address on Bladeforums. So they think they're sending payment to the Seller.
Correct. Beyond that, even if you simply post that you are interested and want to discuss it further, he will reach out via email and impersonate the seller. And he'll dig back to find the email address (mine was buried in a post from over 5 years ago).
