Beware of Fake Strider Knives

The link is for the photos, it looks identicle to the ones show. The person is attempting to trade it for multiple production folders it seems. If you get an offer and the knife looks like the one in the photos, run and let me know.
 
Got an offer for an Identical knife, the only reason I thought something was off about it was that I once had a strider copy. What should I do about this? Can I forward you emails so you can see?

I assume this member has been dealt with? Would we be able to get his information to avoid any future deals this person may try? Someone who is willing to act in this way should be avoided for anything.
 
Yes, his account has been banned. He was given the benefit of the doubt, and was informed his "knife" was a knock off and was asked to stop trying to trade it he. He persisted and that is that.

Will do, thanks. This is why I am having a hard time buying high end knives as of late. I just got back from a gun show in Ruidoso where a guy was trying to peddle fake BM42s.
 
Well, knowledge is power. Some of the newer members need a bit of time to get acquainted with what the real deal is vs a poor copy. Folks seem to always get taken when they want a high dollar knife and want to save as much as possible. The old saying holds true:
When you buy quality, you only cry once.

These knock offs run a plenty and actually go for far lower than $44 believe it or not. Luckily red flags wave all over it if you know what to look for. Shame on a member persisting in trying to pass it off to fellow members:thumbdn:
 
The guy made a new account and is trying the same thing. His grammar gives it away. InfinityBlade450. His name shows up as the same as his old email. This guy is trying now lol
 
His new username is infinityblade 450 and his email is greendayman 450. I was the first one he tried to screw over and followed his activity and told everyone he delt with to beware. He IS in fact infinityblade450
 
Thank you to BlitMonk3y and eafischer for the heads up. This guy definitely seemed familiar after his last username was mentioned. He has denied it all through emails to me but there is more than enough proof here that says otherwise. Btw, the email he reached me with was infinityblade450 @ gmail .com
 
The guy has made a total of 3 accounts. I banned 2, and Karda caught one while I was taking a break. ;)
