Beware of knockoffs

I was looking at the cold steel ak 47 when I came across this http://www.amazon.com/Cold-Steel-Ar...F8&qid=1373856665&sr=1-35&keywords=cold+steel it appears to be a counterfeit version as I can't find anything about cold steel ever using liner locks or flippers and figured I should give you all a heads up

It's a counterfeit for sure. Based on the older style AK-47. Avoid like the plague.

In case anyone's wondering, the real AK-47 is everything Cold Steel says it is and more. :thumbup: Strongly recommended.

Items sold via Amazon won't be counterfeit, but the 3rd party marketplace sellers can be. I once found a fake Emerson Super Commander on Amazon, contacted them, stated exactly how I knew the item was a fake, told them the differences between the real item and the one listed, and they had the listing removed.
