BEWARE of Martin Swinkels!! he screwed me!! I ordered from Martin Swinkels on 1/15/2011. I paid his $50 deposit. I ordered a custome kydex/leather sheath for a bravo 1 knife. After I paid the deposit via paypal, I NEVER heard from him again. I emailed him numerous times.... No response! BEWARE of Martin
Swinkels. Great work, but he screwed me!!
 
BEWARE of Martin Swinkels. He screwed me out of my sheath and deposit! I paid the $50 deposit for him to make me a shealth. after I paid, I NEVER heard
from him again! Numerous emails....no response!! Makes me sad because I like his work, but he screwed me over! Don't let it happen to you!!
 
I have had zero issues with Martin except a little slow on communication. But, he delivered asa promised.
I was actually thinking of having him make me a hybrid sheath for my CABS.

There was a period when he was having issues with his ISP. I think he was actually trying to keep in contact with people through forums etc because email wasn't working. I'd be REALLY surprised if he was trying anything untoward. He was honest, reliable and an all-round great bloke when I was dealing with him. He even charged me less than we'd agreed upon.

If you have a problem with Mr.Swinkels take it to the appropriate area of the forum.

He has a good record of making fine sheaths.

I had the same experience. He stole my money and after three years I've got no refund, no sheath...I can't even get a return email, Facebook message, blog response or phone call returned.
