As you may know from my other post I recently won an auction on ebay for a large regular sebenza. Well I overnighted payment to the seller and got confirmation that he recieved it from the seller himself and from fedex tracking. He recieved it last Tuesday and told me that he shipped the knife on Wendsday. I payed an extra $17.35 for overnight shipping via the USPS. I still have not recieved the knife. :mad: I have asked for the tracking number numerous times and keep getting excuses as to why he can't give it to me. For the last couple days I have recieved no response to any comuntications. I have records and proof that everything I've said is true. and as far as i'm concerned the seller has no proof that he has even shipped the knife. I've filed a complaint with Square trade and the IFCC. Do not buy anything from this guy his user name is dinga6969 and his "real name" is Derek Goldman. I intend to take this as far as I possibly can. If the IFCC can track this guy down and they have enough info to arrest him you can rest assured that I will press charges. I know that this should be in the good bad and ugly but I felt that it was important to warn the people here.

I will keep everone posted but as of now I am sure that he at least ripped me off for my shipping money. There is no way that it is going to take express mail 1 week to ship when they guarentee next day. Even if the knife actualy shows up I still intend to go after the money that I payed for shipping. If this was a mix up I don't see why giving me the tracking number or just plain answering my comunications would be such a problem. Now if I buy another sebbie to replace the one I got screwed for I am going to end up spending a total of $600 on this. If I knew this was going to happen I would have just bought one of the limited edition ones for $550 and saved myself fifty dollars. People who don't even have the balls to rob someone face to face make me sick! I hope someone decides to rob him someday.
 
Sorry to hear about all that difficulty! I almost bid on that knife myself! I will keep my fingers crossed that you receive the knife!
 
I don't think I will. I left horrible feedback for the guy and someone else on ebay saw it. She then contacted me through email and explained that this crook is doing the same thing to her with a channel bag. She gave this guy over $600 for the bag and hasn't recieved it. So we decided that we would stick together and try to get this piece of **** put in jail. :D I hope we can. Oh and the girl told me that he was trying to sell the same purse again on a different site. This guy is a world class dirtbag. Trust me on this DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM.
 
Here is another update. I recieved another email from another victim today. So now there is three people this guy screwed. We are all going to stick together to make sure this guy gets ****ed.
 
Oh by the way sorry about posting In the CRK knives forum. I actually made a duplicate post in the GB&U. I just wanted to make sure that no one else got ****ed by this piece of ****.
 
How did you pay? Any chance you can stop payment on it?

You have a real address for this person right?
 
Maybe you mentioned this already. call the 800 number for the post office, tell them you where scammed and used a postal money order and would like an investigation opened.

I actually have not done that before, but people claim that you can.
 
I am planning on stopping in to the post office today. I brought the reciept from the money order with me to work. I know that one of the other people who got scamed has the name of the bank where her money order was cashed so I will try to get them to track mine too. I'd like to just take a vacation in florida and ring this guy's bell!
 
Sorry to hear about this. You should encourage the other two people to post negative feedback on this guy as well. As things stand, the only negative feedback he has is from you, and the only feedback you have is negative feedback, from him. I think a lot of people will overlook a single negative feedback, especially if it comes from a person with only a single feedback point. Two will make people really stop and think. Three, especially within a short period of time, may shut this guy down. Good luck, and please do keep us posted.
