well, where to start.

Agreed on a price and paid for that item, no response for 24 hours about confiriming the sale, had contact a mod since the next morning, the seller Scott Dog lowered the price of the item but never responded to my reply about confirming payment receieved.

Seller Scott Dog described the item as un-used and reported having no marks on it. NIB

The item arrived and the one side of the prioirty box never had the sticker seal tape taken off only thing holding that side of the box closed was four peices of scotch tape. and only one piece remained opon delivery.

The item was not new, chipped and rolled edge, marks on the blade along with discolorations. I messaged him asking about returning it for a full refund or keeping and partail refund, 48hrs went by no response. The mods have been involved since start.

I emailed his personal email, stating the issues and if i don't hear back from him by the end of the day, I am opening a case with PayPal. Well he responded after 10 minutes, and said to return the item to him, I asked him to start the refund process and he said no not till he gets the item back. Item has been shipped back with signature confirmation.

he is a no go for me, and be wary
 
I can confirm all of the above as can Boru13 Boru13 . I wouldn't accept a gift from this member.

He was only to happy to receive S SaviorSix 's money up front, improperly describe the knife, post it for a lower price the following day despite having received the payment the prior day, and then refuse to issue the refund up front (or offer a partial refund) instead choosing to say, "Send it back, I got a better offer".

No acknowledgement of the wrongdoing on his end of the transaction.

Were it not for the pending matter, I'd seriously have considered banning his account right then.
 
The seller appears to be deceitful, and lacks the skill to properly package such a large knife that has the potential momentum to break through one flimsy piece of tape.

There’s some open sales threads of his that you could close until this is resolved so no one else gets hassled! Temporary ban hammer, like when you hit your thumb!

I believe Boru13 Boru13 was aware of them...I'll have to look into them as well.


ETA: Current sales threads locked at least temporarily pending resolution of this transaction.

Agreed to buy a lefty NICA from @Scott Dog. Told me was mine in the messages. I asked him if her had any other lefties he wanted to sell as well. He said he did. In order to speed up the conversation we texted. Below of the text chain. It was a great conversation I agreed to buy 2 knives...

Add bad communicator and bad at accepting responsibility to the equation and the water becomes less murky.

(His terse replies didn't help his cause either.)
 
I'm happy to report some good news. The OP just reported via PM that PayPal has adjudicated in his favor and is refunding his payment.

(It's heartening to see things work in proper fashion.)
