In my sale thread and follow up emails panamared89 committed to buy a knife from me. I have not heard from him since 1/5 when his email said he would send the PMO the following day.

Thanks for the heads up. I am getting real fed up with folks like this and will be adding 1 more to the list.
 
He emailed me a while back about a knife I had for sale (don't remember the details) and I never heard back from him.
 
Same thing here. panamared89 committed to buy a Busse from me back on January 3. After a couple of emails, crickets...

However, I've noted several times that his last BFC activity was on 1/7, and that's still the case.
This fact makes me wonder if something happened which has prevented him from meeting commitments. I hope he's okay.
However, I'm going to keep a check from time to time, and if he does show up without offering any explanations, I plan to start another thread on him.

Yeah, I saw the last login time as well, and have been watching that.

I know he did complete a deal here, and the person sending the item asked him if he got it and never got a response.

He told me he lives in Harrisburg, which is not that far from me, so if anyone knows his real name I could look at local papers, etc. and see if his name pops up anywhere.
 
stupid question - what if you havent been getting his emails because of a website error? this happens to me sometimes. i send out an email and a day later i get an email asking if a deal is still on because they hadent heard from me.

if i werent hell bent on getting something, and i thought someoen was being rude by not replying, i wouldent go through any greater lengths to try and contact them.

im probably wrong, but its just something to throw out there. realisticly its more likely he is hurt or worse, although i certainly hope not.

I have sent multiple emails, both through the site and to his direct email, so I doubt it is an issue with emails not getting through.

He also said in an email to me that he would send a PMO the following day, and that was 3+ weeks ago now, so I kind of doubt it is an email issues.

Based on Guyon's post, I'm more inclined to think he overcommitted to buy too much, realized it later, and has not signed on since. Maybe I am wrong and there is another reason, but until he signs on and addresses the issue, we will not know.

No, his email works just fine.
We emailed back and forth a few times before he disappeared.
 
Still no activity since the 7th. Dude is either out-of-commission, or he's just called it quits with that account. I'm still looking.
 
Can you write to mods to enable you to leave a negative feedback on the chicken-out buyer....Show the mod the evidence.

Yeah, I have been watching too. I did lookup his name and it appears as though this guy is a postal inspector who has been on the radio and presented to large groups about scammers... Now that's ironic.
