Beware of your display cases!!!

Wow Dave,I'm so happy for you!! It made sick to see your knives get corroded and to see them now it all just seems like a bad dream.They look like new again.In this day and age customer service like that is unheard of.The people at Buck knives are the BEST!
 
Fantastic! I even showed the corroded pic's to some sheeple, and they too were taken aback. I will now show them the refurbished gold.

This thread is a real wakeup call for all of us! Thank God the foam sleeves Buck ships there knives in does not have any issues..I keep my 112's in them till I set up for display.I will sure have to rethink the whole storage issue to make REAL SURE nothing bad happens to them. Bucks customer service really is the very best,as proved here again!
 
I ordered the Buck Collectors Club package in the display case this year- I hope that they have seen this thread and taken action if necessary.

I just want to say once more that it WAS NOT a Buck display case that the knives were in. I sure don't want them getting the blame for something that was not their fault.

Buck was the solution to my problem, not the cause!

Wow.. Buck knives is a very impressive company and they sure do have great service. The Buck 110 is my favorite knife to work with as the bolsters are so thick and I have NEVER had one fail in the work I do on them. In addition with all of the grit and water I run through them they always snap as good as out of the box once I properly clean them. The pivots do not ever seem to gunk up. Great knives from a great company right in the the good ol' USA. Now if they would just move back the manufacture of their tiny Trapper to the US..... :)
 
Congrats - a very good outcome to what could have been a very sad story. Great going, Buck.

I hope others have done as I have - reviewed their syorage!
