I received an L36M Flipper in trade earlier this week and I am absolutely in love. This thing is amazing.

Does anyone know of the best way to get in contact with Andre Thorburn? I found this website, but some of his newer models aren' listed on the product pages and the calendar still has 2012 events on it. Is the contact information still good? I'd really like to place an order for a custom.

You have great taste in knives, obviously. I'm also a Thorburn fan & collector of his incredible flipper knives. I'm in touch with he & his wife fairly regularly. I got in touch with Marietjie via email and got much of the information I needed. Was a bummer to find out their books are pretty much closed. Just got to keep a hawk's eye watch on the internet distributors for availability and the second hand market, I guess.

Yeah Andre has been under pressure as the A2 knives have skyrocketed in popularity.

He will be at Blade in June and also at the Gathering in Vegas on Labour Day weekend. Andre will have knives at both of these shows.
