BF...A sick place for sick people

Yep, Mike & Spark are like drug dealers plying their wares, giving us all our 'fix' with knife talk. For the really degenerate they migrate to the For Sale forums...not enough to just talk they've got to get the 'real thing'. Then there are those that have a more high priced 'habit', they spend their time on customs or automatics, sometimes looking down at production users as just 'junkies'...but guess what..they're just as hooked..probably more. Once hooked they often spend ridiculous amounts on 'just knives'...just ask my wife. Before bf I would make it to an occassional gun show to see the current blades...maybe a magazine if something called to me from the newstand. But now mainlining bf on almost a daily basis I can find all sorts of great stuff.....I can't stop myself...sheesh I found myself at a guys table cycling a Carnivour in one hand, Escalator in the other....wondering what kind of a deal I could get on them both....YEA I'm sick too.

It's not our fault, we're victims of society, oppressed by our upbringings, and besides, it's a victimless crime, right? If we don't do it, someone else will... you can't stop mankind's nature to want sharp and pointy things...

I'm not sick I am just...."practical", yeah that's it, "practical". I have a knife(or need a knife) for every menial/major cutting task at hand....

Com’on guys - more of you should come out in the open - ever since I joined the BF I started finding new and better excuses to spend MORE on knives.

this month's list is too long to print here - maybe in a separate post...

and anyway - I can stop whenever I want to, I really can - boing, boing - I liked it - LOL

Yessiree...I just knew there were other sickies out there. I can't even say I collect.....at least that has a sort of purpose to it. I just accumulate. If I find a blade I really like I have to get a 2nd as a 'back-up', then sometimes a third of the same so I can have a back-up for my 'back-up'..it never ends. For those of you that are in self-denial..just wait...if you are lucky you will someday see the light. For now I just take it one day at a time. Oh gees...it's happening again...I gottagotta go now I see a ppp..pppp.. r..priority package in my mail.
