i just wanted to give the blades forum community a big thumbs up. I have been here five or so years and have met some fantastic people.
Whether your cutting up on "whine and chees", or wheeling and dealing on the exchange or anything in between its full of good folks.
The knowledgeable veterans here easy going and quick to share knowledge.
The people here who are very smart on certain brands also help out newbies who are perhaps trying that brand for the first time.
We have great mods here who are firm but fair and run a great place for us to come hang out.
So here is a "virtual" hand shake and pat on the back to all the good members and mods here.
Lastly thank to everyone who has helped me a long in this great hobby.
 
I feel the same way. I came here looking for info on some $20 and less blades so I could buy just 1 that would last the next 5-10 years. What I got was a lot more than just answers. BF is my secondary home and source of sanity and entertainment most days. I've learned a lot, bought and acquired a lot, and made good friends. Generosity of a few forum members, luck, and some outstanding deals on the Exchange have allowed me to get a handful of blades I never would have gotten the chance to get otherwise. Special thanks to @AlwaysTomboy and palonej palonej for being more than excellent BF friends ;)

You know something?? I read this post and realized I feel the same way.
Never met them face to face, but call a bunch of the members here my friends, whether we ever get to have a beer together or not.
Great people that will literally give you the shirt off their back.
