I traded a Hinderer ZT0550 OD scale for a DigiCamo PM2 .The scale was mailed out July 21th and I have yet to receive anything.. Another member traded with him as well Allahbread and hasn't gotten anything either.

Have you tried sending an email, visitor message or private message?
 
You traded just the scale for a pm2? He has not been online in more than a week and does not have his email turned on.
 
It's really a pain in the ass! I am currently emailing him and he keeps saying it will come tomorrow, but idk if he's really bad now because he offered to pay me what I was supposed to get! Idk. I'm never ever shipping to Canada again!
 
Yes the scale for knife... He is trying to say he hasn't gotten the scale either but he is in Canada so I can't track the package..and I can't imagine a scale being stuck in customs
 
I was going to trade with him once. He had one post and zero feedback.
He kept asking me to ship same time. I told him I could NOT and would NOT ship same time or first because he was new, one post, and no feedback. I have over 3,000 posts and a high amount of feedback.
I thought about doing it because he seemed like a good guy that was just genuinely worried about being ripped off. But it seemed odd to me that he would not ship first knowing how that is supposed to go. I thought it was a little iffy and was told by several people that mimicked my worry that it was iffy. So I didn't trade with him.
I'm now happy I made that decision.

I hope you guys get your knives from him or at least get your items back. Good luck!
 
If he does end up being a scam, than props to him because you should read these emails, he's pretty damn good at it! lol he's a pro. I'm still gonna get my shit back though.

Allahbread - I assume you would because you're newer here and have little to no feedback as well, I'm sorry he's turned out to maybe be a scam artist.

Chester - Didn't it seem weird that he wouldn't send first even though he has no feedback?
 
I didn't think much of it as I was once a newbie to long ago and took a leap of faith....guess I won't do that again.
 
I'm also guilty of trying to see and believe in the best of people. I've learned slowly that not everyone is good and trustworthy. It's a hard lesson to learn.
 
Well Antigames said we was gonna send me $$ to recoup the loss of the PM2...I'll let you know the outcome and update the thread accordingly
 
Same guy from canada tried to buy my dpx hest, offering cash because he didnt have paypal. After he offered more than I was asking and refused a few ways I thought he could get me the money without paypal or mailing cash (eloctronic giftcards to various knife places or even amazon because I was planning on buying knives with the money anyway but he just kept making excuses.

I told him if he really wanted to send cash then I would email the knife after I got the cash but that was a no go too because he was going on vacation and wanted the knife for his vacation.

Few weeks later a friend of mine was selling a zt0560 and the same guy did the same thing. offered him extra cash to send to canada but he would have to pay cash and he needed the knife sent right away because he was going on vacation.
 
Exactly!! He seemed really iffy to me too! That's why I didn't do the trade because he wanted the knife first or wanted me to ship same time. Even offered an email address to me to write a guy that he supposedly traded with on the forum that said he didn't know how to leave feedback. That seemed iffy. I didn't even write the guy because I wasn't going to mail first or same time.
 
Could I post the email of the said member he supposedly did a successful trade with here so the members that are having issues could email him and confirm everything? If it's not Antigames himself.

I knew it was to good to be true so I only sent him the blade knowing that I can get blades from benchmade! So I'm not to pissed but he should get a whoopin!
 
I just heard from Allahbread that the supposed guy he did a trade with is the same man as Antigames.
He's a scam artist and I really hope this works out. Though I wouldn't hold my breath for money or knives from him.
