In my short time here, as a knife maker, I have had the pleasure of meeting some good solid members of an internet discussion forum. Lots of great transactions with good people. For that I'm thankful. Now, this brancron comes along and provides me yet another great experience here on BladeForums. Thank you, sir. **Don't pass up an opportunity to do some business with this guy. walter

I must return the "Good" designation to Walter, and in spades. He built me what's pretty much my ideal knife, at an amazing price. He allowed me to specify exactly what I wanted. Here's a photo:

I love new knives that have that vintage look to them. That looks like a real nice EDC to me. Care to give some specs? Is the blade acid etched?

Sure thing: It's a 2.9" or so acid etched CPM-154 blade at 61-62 Rc, heat treated by Peters' with a -300F cryo freeze thingy, natural canvas micarta scales and backspacer, and nice and thin black G10 liners. Here are the work-in-progress pictures that Walter sent me throughout the build: http://imgur.com/a/8YeaC

Great looking folder! Congrats.

Two good guys here, brancron has answered questions for me more than once and is a big help. Then you have Mr. Wells, good dude, and make a great knife for a fair price. This is what makes BF a great place, guys like this.
