BF MemberJeff Kaczynski (jkaczyn18) is NOT good to go

It's sad that I have to do this.


This is a warning about KF Forum Member Jeff Kaczynski ( jkaczyn18 Forum name).


I purchased a knife from him for $125 PP, he said he shipped it Priority mail, after several days passed I asked for a tracking number, time passed and he said he didn't have one, then stated it went out regular mail.
2 weeks passed, no knife and when I asked for a refund, no longer getting a response.


Started a PayPal resolution, they attempted to refund me but the money was taken out of the account.


Buyer / Seller beware......

I did a deal with Jeff on another forum. I know he posts here so I wanted to make the blade forum community aware. I bought a Harkins Triton in this thread: http://www.jerzeedevil.com/forums/sh...ghlight=triton. I thought we worked out a fair price so I did the deal. What a headache it's been. My first mistake was doing a deal with Jeff. My second mistake was agreeing to pay by money order.

The knife was sent to the wrong person and then me (according to Jeff). When I got it Jeff had covered it in some kind of paint. It took me a few hours over a couple days of wiping it down to get it all off. I really wanted to return the knife after receiving it but because of the initial screw up I was afraid I would never get any money back. I agreed to keep the knife and Jeff agreed to refund $25 to me by usps money order. That was on May 21. It's been a month and still no refund.

I've given him time to work this out. I've been patient and delayed posting anything negative about the guy. Avoid dealing with jkaczyn18 aka Jeff Kaczynski. He is unprofessional, does not keep his word and in my opinion lacks honor and integrity.For the record I have our email conversations saved as well as pictures of the knife with the crappy attempt at covering it up with paint.


After I posted my comment I contacted Jeff letting him know. He refunded $40 to me by Western Union today Saturday June 23. It was a long process but eventually we completed our deal.
