#5 is rinding in my pocket at this time too. Sounds like we're of like mind about carrying them. :thumbup:

I struggled a wee bit over the idea of keeping it stashed, but not for long. It's a special knife involving a special bunch of folks. That's the kind to hand down to someone much later with the scales slightly rounded on the edges and that special luster on it from handling it. Also, let 'em get it with the blades wore down a little from proper sharpening over the years. Much better in my book than keeping it pristine and letting somebody get it later who either won't fully appreciate it as personal item and/or might just cash it in on the bay or somewhere.

I'm pretty sure my kids would keep it as something special, but I'd rather it be with a bit of me worked into it.

:D I took it to work in the box where I showed it off. It then ended up in my pocket. I later was showing a few of my co-workers what shaving sharp was on my arm. LOL, they went bug-eyed and drop jawed when the patch of hair on my arm just slipped away leaving bare skin. Earlier they'd wowed and awed over the knife for its beauty. The little sharpness demo showed them the beauty wasn't just on the outside!

Great idea mp510, I've got #32. The only other one I know for sure is jacknife got #1. Amos, I remember trying that shaving sharp experiment when I was about five years old, needless to say it didn't work so well, and I've got the scar to remind me:eek::D

I have #8. I'm almost ashamed to say:o, I wasn't going to use mine until AIWolf prodded. I will now use it with gusto and carry it with pride. :thumbup::D
 
Number 019 for me, sits in my jeans watch pocket!
 
I have #022 and its on its way back to Canal Street due to some problems with the knife(mostly finish). Wally Gardner, owner of Canal Street Cutlery assured me he will resolve the problem.

189,246 - just as GigOne predicted.

Many of the numbers are posted in the "Completed" thread as folks received their knife.
