Just wanted to follow-up on my post #47 above:
It's all good!
I put my Cannitler in the mail to Canal Street Cutlery 1.19.08 (Arkansas to NY) and have it back in my hand today, 1.25.08, and it is just how I hoped it would be. They did a great repair job, and I am a happy camper now.
In my book, that is outstanding customer service! My sincere thanks to Canal Street Cutlery Company.
