Just stumbled onto this thread today. Yes you "Folks" are great. I don't post too much and I still need to get set up to post pictures but I come here as often as I check my work emails. I need to come here, not just to look at all of your great traditional knives but to get a breath of fresh air and slow down.
Carl,
You once again said it perfectly.
I think the age and diversity of the group paired with a gentle and unwaivering commitment of the Mods to keep this place "more than just civil" makes this place very special.
The Give away thing is fun to watch. I don;t think I have entered if I have it was long ago. I really don't need more knives but I love the spirit.
I just finished my first Rough Rider Stockman kit build up and I immediately ordered another kit. I think this one will get built and then given away sometime soon.
Thanks Carl for the amazing stories, thanks Mods for keeping this place special and the rest of you for being well, you.
Cheers
Billy
