I have read that the CPM steels are stronger . Yes, your right I would'nt mallet a folder .
Well, I wouldn't mallet any of my knives thru anything . But I've seen my brother do it many times using a 1980, 119 without any damage to the blade . After watching him do that and him telling me how strong Buck knives were . I ran out and bought me a Buck knife . DM
