BG-42 Military? Is it a grail?

Not sure about grail but I wish I had the one I had back. Love BG42 steel. Wish more blades were made from it. Maybe not a super steel but I can put a wicked edge on it and it holds it nice.
 
I agree with the comments about CRK and Buck, but with the Military there have been several premium steels that at least to me eclipse BG-42: S90V, M390, 204P and CPM-M4, among others. There's nothing wrong the the Military sprint in BG-42, but to me it doesn't stand out the way a 110 or a Sebenza would compared to other blade choices in those knives.
 
Well, 10 years ago when I bought it, it surely was one of my grails. Fully agree that it is now somehow eclipsed by S110V, S90V, Cruwear and their like - but as an EDC steel I still tend to prefer M390 and BG-42 above anything else.
