BG 42 over S30V?

I've had both, and like the S30V just fine. Mostly because it's on the Sebenza I carry. Great reasoning, eh?

Seriously though, it sharpens up on a fine-grit diamond stone like a champ, and now that the edge has been re-profiled (only took a year of casual sharpening), it cuts like a sombee-hatch.

I'd be more concerned if your Sebenza has only one thumblug. You single-thumbluggers... you know something's wrong with you. ;)

well i decided to keep the bg42 large sebenza.

called the company i bought it from and cancelled my order for the s30v, told them i would just keep the bg42 model.

afterall, it was only $279.99 new in box. i figure i can't beat that price... for either s30v or bg42.

yes, I would like to know where to get it at that price too...I'm looking for a small S30V regular sebbie to do some mods on....
 
i snagged this great deal on ebay. sellers name is: holstersplus

they are getting a new shipment from CRK here in a few weeks, but i do not know if they will be the same price. mine was bg42 from 1998. but was new in box. it's a real beauty!
