First “I’ll take it” gets it, price is all in and not seeking trades at the moment.

Busse BG Boss Jack- from the grab bag release. Has a swedge along almost the entire top. $300 Sold

Looks to be a tic over 3/16" but tapers quickly. It's coated...I'm horrible with colors but looks to be sage/tan.
 
OK, I am figuring maggot brain is right and this is .22 and I can’t measure it. Dr Wingert was hoping for a slimmer version so I refunded him and this knife is still available :thumbsup:

Hello. Thanks for your input regarding the boss jack knife. Most of them are .22 inches thick but some were made around .18 inches. How do you know the one for sale on bladeforums is .22? I am a potential buyer but I need the thinner version. Thanks for your attention and input. Richard Wingert

OK, here's my take on it... this is a standard Battle Grade Boss Jack blank w/ swedge grind (full length, almost).

The full length swedge should reduce the overall thickness a bit, but if you measure off the spine just between the scales and swedge grind you should be right around .22".

Battle Grade Boss Jack's blanks should have all been cut .22" thick... http://www.bussecollector.com/catalog/

Also, the scales are not the standard Boss Jack texturing... but appear to be what came standard on the Boss Streets. I'd say you'd be happy with it if you're ok with most of the blade being maybe right around + or - .187" thick. Do me a favor and buy it so I'm not tempted anymore... :eek::D

Richard, like I pm’ed you I’m going to pass on the buy offer. I’m not going to risk you getting it, not being happy with the thickness then I’m out multiple shipping costs. I’m already down on pp charges for returning the payment.
