Can anyone repost photos of the competition Infi hell razor (1) vs the BG? Sounds like the BG is larger and thicker but does anyone have a side by side ?
I picked up the BG HR and curious how it will compare to size to the Infi SFNO I shipped back to Busse to fix a rolled edge
Sorry Jaxx, not sure I understand the thickness comment, did you say the BG is thicker? or same thickness?Jetlau3111
BGHR is about .25" longer, & its handle is ergonomically comfortable, & more filling in the palm. Feels "thicker". Same comfort level in the SE2007 HR, but different feel due to shaping/contour differences. Both seem to be same thickness, but BGHR seems thicker, & is def heavier due to its coating, no CBT, & slight grind differences vs the comp finished bare INFI of the SE2007 HR.
This BGHR- 17.42oz
This SE'07- 14.74oz

I had to double check...senility & all lolSorry Jaxx, not sure I understand the thickness comment, did you say the BG is thicker? or same thickness?
SFNO came in 2 size handles. Standard & Magnum. Yours looks like a Standard. If it isn't ergonomically comfy enough, maybe try a Mag handle SFNO or SFNO LE.View attachment 2406692

BG's handle feels a little more comfortable to my hand. Same size & thickness scales, save for 1 difference- the handle slabs are more rounded off the spine, while HR2 handle has a bit more "shoulder". Thickness is .220" on both (Note: BGHR is coated, the HR2 I'm comparing it to is stonewashed, yet both seem the same on the ruler) BGHR is 7.25" from tip to handle slab, the HR2 is 8".So how does BG compare to the HR2?
I can't believe I've never tried either of them![]()

Yes, I etched the logo and stripped it with Citristrip a few years back. The scales are also “tan” micarta because this was before maroon was ever offered, but they naturally darkened to be super red, which I love. Funny thing is that I almost sold it when it was new and now it’s one of my favorite blades.Did you strip that one ?
