This is a self-defense tool that measures 5 1/8" total length. It is made from a 19th century butchers honing rod. Hand ground. Retains some of its original patina. Design and purpose is based on the yawara, an ancient Japanese self-defense/fighting weapon. Comes with a custom made leather squeeze sheath. Squeeze the sides and the tool slips in or out. I purchased two and easily added lanyard holes. craftsmanship is unreal, great item at a better price and fast shipping. I am using one as a metal punch.
