BGAD is great knife, however I am simply amazed with RMD ergonomics.

This is the second time in 3 days that I've seen a comment about the RMD selling out or disappearing - is this just idle fear, or did I miss something? If it's real, I NEED to know.

Some time today, I'm going to have to sit down and figure out what blade/handle option(s) I want...maybe red/black on muddy, or tan micarta on sage. Probably both unless I come up with something better.

I can only comment on how the Swamp does it - separate orders are shipped separately, and in the order that they are completed (unless you request them to be shipped together).

And even ordered together, they may be shipped separately depending on completion, but you still get the cost benefit as if they were to ship together which is sweet.
 
Definitely go with the RMD its one of the best buys around. Or if you can afford it get a Swatmandu off the EE they've been popping up there alot lately.
 
Just ordered a Black Canvas w/Moss Green coating RMD..................

As much as I want to grab some BG Busse, the Ash didn't speak to me, the BGAD looks sweet but is too close to my RS to leave the 5" ish gap unfilled. With the RMD added in I will have my 3", 5", 7", 11" covered.....now I need the B13 and something in 9"........

Here is also to hoping for the Busse Bali-song, Busse Folder, and BG Magnum Bear Cub...................

I agree, we ALL need a B13! :D Congrats on the RMD!

It's just everyone's gut feeling. With all the knives going out of stock lately, and with the RMD being such a long-lived model (similar to the Rodent Solution), it's probably a safe bet that the RMD's remaining time is short. Personlly, I'd be surprised if it wasn't gone before Christmas.
 
True, but the RMD has been brought back many times, I have a hard time seeing how it can stay gone forever and there are a ton of them out there, no guarantee on the BGAD though as this is it's FIRST appearance. ;)

I agree. Also, there was no warning when the RS went either........
 
I think the RMD has been brought back so many times because of all the designs Jerry has made that have been awesome I think the RMD stands at the top in the ergo department, because for such a wide variety of hand sizes and shapes it just simply works.
 
Yeah. I'd be willing to bet that the RMD (all variants as a whole) is the best-selling Bussekin design of ALL time. :cool:
