I've carried my BGRS all this deer season. Can't say enough good things about it. Yesterday I cut a small tree about 4" in dia. with a nice burl on the end, that I was going to make a ball headed club out of. I believe the wood is red oak,although the grain/ growth rings are real tight (going back today for the rest of the tree. Gonna use it for a bow stave- have to back it well though). Anyhow my khuk chopped through that tree like it was pine.All I had to do was touch up the edge with the chakma to get the "shiver" back. Can't think of a better tool to carry to chop wood, or split rib cages, or pelvic bones (on deer
