Bhakta East Meets West Knife for 11/3

The grip on mine is exactly 7" from center line back to front. I tried to add pictures but freaking Photobucket is acting out on my end, sorry

4-1/2" at the top on the bottom edge of the grip and where the tips are closest together at the bottom of the "opening". 4-3/4" in the center of the "opening" which is the widest. Sounds like a snug fit but tolerable. I imagine it wouldn't take a lot of skill to lengthen/widen the grip area a tad if need be.

Whatch out Jens! Were gonna come up with a new name for ya;)

Let's be kind. We'll just refer to him the gripper.:)
Thanks for measuring this for me that'll help. It's true I could modify it most likely without messing it up but I'm always hesitant changing the smallest bit of what our kami magicians have created.

You guys rock and feel free to call me anything you want. It'll probably be better than in the army.

Gripper sounds not too bad. I'm working on the Captain of Crush #3 and managed to close it twice within the last year. Once I get more consistent I might test for the certificate.

OK Cap'n Crunch it is:D
Dang! 365# You could start with one pound on January 1st and add a pound each day! By the time you get to New Years you earned your name! That #4 looks like the one that came of my old '69 Econoline van.

I believe there's only one person in the world who did the #4.
I have one at home and even with two hands and my legs pressing against them I can't close it :-o
Given how long it took me to train for the 3 I've no illusion about the 4 :-D

I keep increasing the weight by 5 pounds and leave plenty of resting days but always seem to hit a plateau or even a slight negative dip after a while.

Cap'n Crunch is funny.

I LOVE THIS BLADE! Tht is saying a lot, because I love a lot of my HI Blades, but seriously folks, this is one badass, serious blade.

The spine on this is 5/8", at it's thickest point, it's 20" OAL, and 31 oz. You would think it'll be pretty heavy due to the blade just being so substantial.

But, NO, it's well balanced, and extraordinarily fast and agile in hand. I can do serious de-limbing if it came down to it, with little effort.

It's an awesome blade, did I say that already????

Beautiful blade! The kamis are great at balancing them. Some Kukris are as heavy as long swords and even if swung with only one arm they feel very lively.
Thank you for sharing it and including the ruler :-) Now I got some better idea of the handle size.

Looks like plenty of handle for sure. I could easily get two hands on that one I think.

Quite frankly this knife didn't really sing to me before but for some reason these pictures are starting a little music inside my head. Could easily turn into another Woodstock I'm thinking. Really really big.

Mr B. it didn't sing too loudly to me, first round, by the third round, it grew on me, and had me really curious, then I had to pull the trigger.

I am glad I did, because it's really amazing how the kamis made something so beastly, yet, it's so well suited for being wielded one handed, and it's really well balanced, much more than I expected.

Well it sings real dang loud to me! LRAD comes to mind:D Kinda a cross between Kopis, falcata, large Bowie...and then some. I can tell by Kami experience that it must be one of the finest knives they ever made! You fellas that got them are lucky dawgs! Hope they keep coming!
