BHK Pathfinder

Would some one give a link so I can see the BHK Pathfinder? What does BHK stand for?

I don't mean to play dumb, but not everyone knows these things.

When you buy a pathfinder knife a lot of that cost goes into The Pathfinder Youth Organization. To help the program fund money for the school to help kids learn about living skills. So think about that when you look at that price tag.

$275

BHK make good knives
But................
Just think of the custom I could get from any of these very fine makers here

I like it ok, but I like this one better because only a little more expensive and the blade is “virtually” indestructible:

Field and Stream Best Hunting Knife of 2013: DiamondBlade Meridian

$395; (diamondbladeknives.com) It may be an expensive piece of equipment, but it has the best grip, the best sheath, and the best overall design of any knife we’ve gotten to test. Most important, it will outcut them all. DiamondBlade’s Friction Forging process, which is now patented, gives you an edge so hard and so tough that it’s almost impossible to dull. The Meridian is assuredly a hunting knife, but its slender, drop-point 4.5-inch blade is a versatile shape that will work for almost any purpose. The nice, long handle is the same Suregrip pattern that’s used for Knives of Alaska cutlery, and the tooled-leather sheath has a hard liner to keep the scalpel-like blade from cutting through. A lot of money? Yes, but on the other hand, there’s nothing else like it. (Source: http://www.fieldandstream.com/articles/hunting/2013/07/best-knife-2013-diamondblade-meridian)

Dan- Ive got a scandi PLSK1 if you wanna check her out, pretty good knife, very well done scandi, nice long bevel, but too wide and thick of a blade for me. My most used bush knife is a flat ground boning knife...Im getting into the thinner, narrower blades for woods work these days.

I have been looking at the BHK Pathfinder knife for a while now. What are your thoughts on the knife? Pros and cons. If you have pics, that would be great. I'm looking at all of the Pathfinder series, including the Scout.

Thanks.

i to wanted the pathfinder knife, until i seen Blind Horse Knives Forest Trail

Check out L.T. Wright.. Former BHK owner.. He has a Genesis knife that is sooo fine.. I handled one a month or so ago and it is on the "List" to get!! John

I own the PLSK1 it's a great knife, honestly I can't find a flaw! I just recently ordered the Pathfinder Scout, should be here any day now! image.jpg that's a picture of my Scout that's coming!! Any sheath makers on here that can make a leather scout carry sheath with a pouch and ferro holder?
