Sorry, it's late and I've turned into a smarta$$ :o

I suspect from what little I have seen that it is not very lefty friendly, but I am still a little fuzzy on how it is supposed to work. And since I'm certain it will be classified as a switchblade and be illegal here, I'm not really concerned anyway.
 
As I replied to your question in the automatic knives forum, from what I've seen, it should if you hold it far enough from your palm.

Any of the guys from the Amsterdam show try opening it left handed?
 
Nope, my state makes no allowance on automatic knives due to length. I'm not going to cut off an arm just to carry an auto, my military days are long past, and I'm older than our Chief of Police and he doesn't officially approve of my attitude on foot pursuit (too much paperwork if you shoot someone for running) :D
