Bid Farewell To The NMSFNO. . .

I ordered one in sage with black micarta handles on Saturday. I'm hoping it arrives this week.

Good call on that NMSFNO. Sage is such a nice color for a blade coating.

Post some pics either here or over on the Scrap Yard boards when you get it!

Like I needed another mid-sized chopper! I really liked the convexed LE model, but it was a little expensive for me right now. We'll see how it does. I have only had two Busses I didn't care for, and they were easy to sell. I think I'll like this 8" chopper.

I was able to resist, even the cool green, but now. . .just gotta make sure the kukri isn't the next offering. . .

Indeed, compared with the normal 2 week notice, this is definitely a helluva short notice!

I think you will like it too, and yes, if you aren't fond of it, just sell the bugger.

I tend to really like the bigger Busses from the ASH1 on up. I had a BATAC, but preferred the Ratmandu. Had a Meaner, but preferred the SS4. I'm kind of picky about the way handles fit me. The NMSFNO handle looks comfy to me. I am thinking that a knife that is truly big enough to chop, but not huge, might be a great all arounder.

Jerry, Thanks for bringing the NMSFNO. It is a great one and a classic.

Lots of people with lots of wants.

But, my vote will be for a Anniversary SHBA without choil

or a NMFSH with either full height convex or saber grind.

The Busse main site is still down. Must be something good coming up! I don't know why, but it feels to me like it won't be the HG55. My pork senses are tingling. I don't want to say what I think it might really be- don't wanna jinx it.
