There's been some talk about how that infamous on-line auction site has changed their method of id'ing bidders. This creates a couple of problems.
No. 1, we have no way of knowing if someone is just inflating the price of a buddies merchandise (I'm not sure we could really tell that any way).
No. 2, we have no way of knowing when we're stepping on the toes of a fellow Buck collector.
No. 3, being fairly isolated, I have no place else to watch for collectible, or hard to find models, which means that without that site, I have no reliable way to feed my addiction.
I did check on a 319, that I have bid on, without logging in to the site and find that my ID is r***t. Well, my old handle was rudderjt, so could it be that the code isn't as hard to figure out as we think? The r and the t would be the first and last letters of my old ID. Any one else notice this or is this just a coincidence on my part?
