Big and murdery

Honestly, what craptabulous knives. I love the ugliness.

Seriously, is everything really that ugly or do you just have some sort of bias against larger knives?

no bias, lol. I should say there are some ok lookers in there, but many uglies for sure. Charlie Mikes blade is the best looker for sure. I love Cold Steel, but their big folders are ugly. I still think they are worth owning, but they are ugly. But sorry, rocklobster, EKA swede, and the first blade pictured are all hideous.

Referring to knives as "murdery" might be a poor choice in words. A lot of us live in areas where there is a stigma attached to something as simple as a 3inch edc folder. I myself am in the Baltimore Washington DC Metro area, and I have had to convince people that a knife is a tool and not a weapon. I don't think that blatantly describing a knife as murdry is a great way to ease the apprehension of those who would try to push even more strict knife carry laws.

I could not agree with you more. This thread was meant more as a joke to share our ridiculous knives. I apologize for offending anyone, that was not my intention.

Not interested in mud slinging...

Nobody is being politically correct...
Only people pointing out the poor choice of words being used...
Nobody is "worming" their way on to a pedestal...
Well, perhaps yourself...

Should have kept my opinion to myself...

Maybe you should find a way to be civil. This isn't the other sub forum...

Ok Blues, you're right.
That was unnecessary.

I always thought you had some good stuff to type.
Somewhere along the way I got on your bad side.

So, I apologize. I don't know what else I can do.
I really would rather post about knives & guns & bikes, instead of arguing & name calling.

Hello Blues Bender, my name is Randy, but they call me Sixx.
I'm a knife nut from Alberta. Pleased to meet you.
Have a good day.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you have not been around long enough to see the "murderous" stigma that has been attached to the knives we all enjoy, and how hard many, many people are fighting to change that impression and protect our rights to carry knives.

We all have big, goofy knives we think are cool.

Associating "murder" with them is not cool and only feeds the stereotypes which hurt us all.
