***SOLD***I have for sale a never carried or used "mega" lockback folder made by master knifemaker Ed Kalfayan. It is a real work of art and is as overbuilt as a tank.

This beauty has a 5 1/4" blade of ATS-34, (RC of 59-60), that is 1/4" thick and the knife is 6 5/8" closed with a overall length of 11 7/8"!

It locks up rock solid and the blade is centered when closed.

It has a mirror polished blade and bolsters that show only extremely minor and normal handling surface marks that happen with mirror polished surfaces.

It also has beautiful blue anonized full double titanium liners and has a full SS backspacer with absolutely gorgeous file work.

It has Loveless style green canvas micarta scales and also comes with an EXTRA SET of genuine Mammoth bone scales! They are easily interchanged with a simple Allen wrench.

This is a beautiful knife that is as solid and tough as it is pretty.

Ed Kalfayan is a Knifemakers Guild member has been making knives and swords for over 40 years. He no longer accepts custom orders and said after making this knife and another one similar to it that he would never do it again!

I'm asking $650.00 shipped***REDUCED TO $450.00!***REDUCED TO $425.00!***REDUCED TO $400.00! ***SOLD***(U.S. only and other countries would be extra), for this and for what it cost, this is a bargain.

I will accept PayPal, (please add 4% for my costs and NO e-checks), or postal money orders.

Please e-mail at: genesederholm@yahoo.com if you want it or have any questions.

I apologize for the crappy pictures but they are all of the actual knife. The pictures show what look like scratches but they are surface handling marks that just happen when handling mirror polished surfaces. The knife as always looks so much better in person. Please excuse the fingerprints!

I'll try and do one tomorrow. I have an old digital camera and I'm lacking at photographic skills but I'll try to do the best I can.

By the way, you're typing zeros and not o's and you're asking me for a hand shot! ;) It's not as easy as it seems! :)

This knife is as beautiful and as well built as any knife on these boards and whoever buys it will not be disappointed!

Sorry for the delay, but here's a couple of hand shots. Like I said, I have an old digital camera and I also don't know what I'm doing.

Please disregard the swirls that look so dominant in the bolsters as they show up much worse in the pictures than in real life like all high polished things do. Also, the blade is mirror polished and came out looking black which is what picture taking idots like me do to things like this. :)

Gene, looks like a Saber grind ? is the blade still quite thick just above the edge grind ? and finally, does it come with a sheath ?

Hi Roland,
Yeah, it's pretty much a saber grind. The spine is 1/4" thick until you get to the "false edge". The false edge is unsharpened but it could be sharpened without too much effort.

No sorry, no sheath but I will throw in a quality carrying case to whoever buys it.
