For a "big belly" folder, I don't think you can do much better than either of these Spydercos:

Farid K2 (Ti 4.5" CPM 10V)

or the 100 Pacer (G10 4" CTS XHP)

I own them. Both are huge folders and discontinued but fairly easy to find on EB for a "price."

The blade height and the full flat grind makes for a very sharp knife.

It is a Titanium Marlinspike/Shackle Wrench. A sailor’s tool.

Both are good calls . I have their "big brothers" and both are great knives ! I have carried and used both in the large / XL versions .

Not being a wise guy here, but DocJD , what do you use them for? Work? Fun? Outdoors? That's a whole lot of hardware to wag around. Inquiring minds need to know....!

It is a mean slicer!! Very tall blade with full flat grind and nice thin edge. I have that all steel version, and an ironwood.

Got one of the AG Russell sunfish (only factory seconds were available for purchase from AG). Three of the pins holding the stabilized oak handles to the frame have tiny cracks emanating from them. (For example, top left and bottom right pins in picture). How common is this and will the cracks spread? Should I return it (a hassle)? Thoughts welcome.

Was able to return it for a slightly nicer specimen. At 6.4 oz its a bit chunky for EDC but I like it, thanks for the suggestion
