CHristof, awesome, awesome, awesome!

Now go clean yer fingermails. :D

Thank you everybody :) I had to really think about this one but I think it worked out nicely

I see a couple of complementary creative minds at work here.
It's easy to throw together the first thought but thinking through the details that provide flexibility without adding three pounds of material and clunky hardware take some brains and (probably more so) determination. Getting lucky with a "bright idea" is altogether another thing too but having the discipline to hammer through the application problem is commendable. I take the most pride in what appear to be "simple solutions" that took some "overtime" in the thought-department.

Altogether a great package and, Koyote, no apologies necessary on the thickness of the blades. It's SO nice to have the choice these days. I do like "thick" blades sometimes but not always. I am fortunate today to be able to own BOTH and I thoroughly enjoy using both,.... I do get more use out of my thinner blades though. Maybe because of the way they work, maybe because they are feathery-lightweight, maybe both and then some - I don't know but I do tend to use my thinner knives more than my thicker ones.

Excellent looking combo. I'm more partial to the smaller one and would love to see a bit more handle room on that one. However, as the piggyback combo shown, I can see the merits of keeping the small knife nice and compact. Looks really great!

I just got these today, and my first thoughts are wow! I was worried that the lil one wasn't going to have enough handle, but it fits my hand perfectly. The balance is right at the fore finger. I am at work right now so I really can't play with it but I am sure it will handle anything. It feels real solid, more so then some thicker blades I have.

I am not a real big fan of big knives, but this one is sweet! Its only about 15oz, The balance is just past the ricasso. I can't wait to use this knife! The whole rig all together ways only 2lbs! Koyote's cama osage is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures.

The sheaths were well thought out and perfectly executed. Koyote girl did a great job. I love the finish. It compliments the handle perfectly!

Obviously I am more than happy with my investment:thumbup::cool:

I really need to learn how to explain these fat short scandinavian handles to people! In hapiko we have a common strike called a palm heel. Really strong alignment of bones and such. With these handles you can get your palm heel into the butt and really push. And the handles are thick enough to maintain good control when you do!

tonym: Koyote Girl says thanks, I'm sure she will pop in and say it. I'm stoked that you like the set, it was a lot of fun to make and I'm really happy with the way they came out. That chopper really will chop, too! Kinda feels atavistically good in the hand :D

Oh yeah- tell me how you like the filework on the ricasso and spine, I think it's functionally right, but you're the end user.

The file work camo out great. If you don't do it on all your knives, I think you should.

I still can't get over how nice this big guy feels. I am over hear whittling pencils at my desk, scaring the heck out my co workers. Don't know what they're problem is, atleast there will be plenty of sharp pencils around!

I am sure it will chop, but that will have to wait til later.

K-KOG? I dunno. I don't really think about this stuff. Kinda cool thought, though.
Aw, jeez- I'm going to have to figure out a logo, ain't I?

Wow your right, I had some standing dead wood in the patch of woods by my house, I think its maple about 3 or 4" diameter, Was alot of fun taking it down. It also cots through smaller brush like milkweed like a machete. I really like this knife.
