These came from some wood I bought from a veneer mill that closed down a couple years ago. These are English Walnut with some figure and sapwood. This is natural wood that is harder than average Walnut. English Walnut has good colors with a natural olive tint. Pretty stuff.
These blocks are natural wood. They are not stabilized. There have been some requests from some of you guys who do your own stabilizing, so these are for you. English Walnut is a good hard wood that should not require stabilizing.

Photos show the wood lightly misted with water so you can get an idea how they will look finished.
