I scored some blue fiberglass blocks from a local guy out where I live. They were salvaged from an electric train project, where insulators were needed along the track. These blocks are massive and dense.
They are definitely fiberglass blocks and have a sort of random woven pattern inside. The striations from the woven cloth look really cool when they are ground to shape. They look, smell, and grind like G10 but im not sure of their exact grade. They are also waterproof.
These would be great for Bowie handles, hawk handles, or could even be sliced into multiple sets of scales.
Each block is 1.25" thick, by 2.25" tall. They vary in length, but I am selling them for $3 per inch of length.
I have the following blocks available:
1 x 8" block. $24
6 x 9" blocks. $27 each
4 x 10" blocks. $30 each
1 x 11" blocks. $33 each
Shipping is pricey for these due to their weight. It will be $20 for the first block, and $5 for each additional block.
My PayPal is shane_o_ca at Hotmail dot com.
