Heat treat: quenched 3 times w/ 24hr soak in freezer in between
Temper: 3 times 400f for 2hr
Grind: 90 flat 10 convext
Finish: 220 hand satin

Nice design, excellent workmanship. If you wait until the chickens are fed and the cows are milked this morning you will miss this one!
 
Seeing that there is more than one that like the drop point, I will start to work on a couple more.

Then I'll wait. Don't suppose this can be produced with a hamon/temper-line? I'd very much like that.
 
Just got the drop point from Eric today. Great little blade. Nice and solid, finish is great. Everything is superb. :thumbup:

Do not hesitate on these blades guys...

Cotherion, I will try some with a temper line as they are edge quench but not sure they will show up with the 52100.
I will be making some more soon.
But untill then the CP is still up for graps
 
If you are trying then maybe one with 3.5 inch blade and over all 7 inches. I kinda like a 1 to 1 handle to blade ratio.

If possible the temper line be around 50% of the blade width. I don't like some blades where the temper line is close to the blade's edge. Gives me the feeling it will touch
 
Thanks for the great steel! The simple kydex sheath has excellent retention. Very good bargain.
 
Well this one is still up for sale. Just so everyone know I am working on more DP and New Wharncliffe. I hope to have them done in two weeks or so.
